Description:  As part of a two million pound refurbishment to the Ffolkes Arms hotel in Hillington, Fortis Coatings were contracted to install a number of Epoxy resin worktops and shelves. The owner was looking for a cost effective alternative to marble and had heard about about epoxy resin. Once completed the worktops were sealed with a matt polyurethane seal coat to add durability and stain resistance. Overall the finished pieces were extremely effective and were a fraction of the price for marble. 

Epoxy Resin worktops give our clients the chance to create effects and styles that cannot easily be replicated with traditional building methods. Whether this is encapsulating items underneath crystal clear resin or swirling metallic pigments. Our epoxy resin worktops are a great solution for commercial applications where a cost saving against granite or marble is a benefit.
